Ep. 53 – Creating vs. Consuming In A Digital World – With Corbett Barr

by | Alignment & Flow, Healthy Habits (Mind Body), Meaning & Purpose, Meditation & Mindfulness, podcast

In this interview, Corbett Barr talks with Carol about life being a refinement process, increasing awareness of the importance of creating vs. consuming in a digital world, and having a heart-centered focus. Recently Corbett has taken a look at his life and the world and pivoted to focus on “tech for social good, digital minimalism, and the creator economy.” In his conversation with Carol, he talks about how this period of reevaluation and contemplation has led him back to writing.

Carol met Corbett through his company, Fizzle. From her experience in working with him, she says that “Corbett is one of the most humble human beings I have gotten to know. I’ve been a member of his Fizzle community for over three years, and I’ve learned a lot from him and his team in building Hearts Rise Up’s online presence. I appreciate his integrity, honesty, and compassion.” Hearts Rise Up is excited to bring this interview with Corbett Barr to our listeners!

Corbett is the founder and CEO of Fizzle. He has thrived being a creator on the internet since 2005, earning a living from blogging, podcasting, online courses, memberships, SaaS, and building communities. In addition, he’s bootstrapped, freelanced, consulted, and raised venture capital.
